The International Rising Tide Climate Action Tour came to the Green Room at the E-bar in Guelph on May 24, 2007. The event, entitled "Exploring Root Causes and Our Many Interconnections," was hosted by Guelph's own Appleseed Collective along with Healing the Earth Radio.
Rising Tide strives to understand how climate change is necessarily connected to issues like the food system, industrial agriculture, mental health, indigenous sovereignty, and environmental racism. The group uses interactive games, mind maps, and multimedia presentations to get their message across.
